She/Her/Hers
Hi, my name is Courtney & I am the founder of Phase Mental Health and Wellness. Since you have found this page it looks like you are taking the step toward support for your mental health needs, goals, and/or healing. Whatever the case may be I want to first say, I’m so glad you are here.
In the spirit of getting to know each other I’ll begin with a few details about Phase as a practice; then, I’ll provide information about the support I provide as a clinician.
Phase is a private practice mental health provider in Michigan located in the Detroit-Metropolitan Area. Our mental health services have the foundational principles & approach of being both trauma informed and holistically person centered. Meaning, we will look at each client as their own individual, with their own unique experiences. We value both curiosity and openness when looking at challenges; and, honor the many ways problem solving can be accomplished according to your own preferences.
When I set my mind to creating this practice I chose to be present with myself, my community, and the world. I’m setting this intention by showing-up as my most authentic self, while incorporating a variety of evidence-based methods to support others. I truly believe in the importance of therapy. The therapeutic partnership can bring understanding to one’s innermost thoughts, emotions; and support the overall wellness of an individual.
